Financial Peace University (FPU) consists of a 11-week video curriculum, taught by financial expert Dave Ramsey, that incorporates small-group discussions to encourage accountability and discipleship. The first five classes are appropriate for the youth and young adults if they would like to accompany the parents.  Financial Peace University is highly entertaining for everyone, with a unique combination of humor, informative financial advice and biblical messages. Order your member pack for $98 through the office.  You’ll receive your book, workbook, set of cds, and Envelope System, as well as online support and forms.  Child care available on Sundays.

Portable Project

It is finally coming to pass!  The portables are closer to being a reality!  Volunteers are needed from 7am-9am on Saturday, November 21st, and then after noon (following Billy Rotunda’s Memorial Service) to put on roofs.  For more information, call the office at 941-371-4735.

Memorial Service-Billy Rotunda

A Memorial Service for Billy Rotunda will be held on Saturday, November 21st, at 10:00am.  Billy was an active member of our church for over 20 years.  He loved people and his position of usher was one of the many ways he gave back to our church body.  You could find Billy downtown working with the homeless as much as he possibly could.  He would do anything he could to make a difference in the lives of others.  Please plan on coming out to remember him and support his family.   We will serve finger foods after the service.  If you can contribute or would like to serve, please call the office at 371-4735 and ask for Phyllis.

Needs and Leads

Hey Guys, let’s network.  We have those who need jobs and those who have positions to fill.  Check out the bulletin board in the church foyer.  When you have an opening, post it.  When someone lets us know of an opening, we’ll post that as well.  Here’s a great example:

December Job Openings:

Housekeeping Position-7:30am-4pm, Monday thru Friday,  and every other weekend-apply 1st week in December-position will be open at the end of that month. Call Rod Denisar at 321-8356 or Arden Court at 925-3900.

Food Pantry

Jonathan could use a few volunteers on Tuesday mornings to help unload groceries as they come in from All Faith Food Pantry.  He can be reached at 342-4383.  The pantry is available to all who have a need on Wednesday mornings from 10-11am and special appointments can be set up for our church family on Tuesday evenings by calling the office at 371-4735.
