Leadership

PK

Kenton Slabaugh,
Senior Pastor, MDIV.

Pastor Kenton has been in ministry for 20+ years under the Cornerstone Church and Ministries covering.  Pastor  Kenton started as a worship leader for the main church in Harrisonburg, Va.   From Virginia he  moved to Florida and started the Cornerstone Church of the Suncoast.  About 10 years after the church plant, he joined up with Pastor Gene and they formed what is now Restoration Fellowship Church.

Sr. Support Pastor

Pastor Gene Mathis, MDIV.

Pastor Gene, as a Florida native, has been ministering in Florida for over 35 years.  His focus now is bringing people to recovery who have life-controlling addictions.  His hard work and determination paved the way for the marriage of the two churches.  Pastor Gene’s passions are Jesus, people, and golf.

pastor-ted

Pastor Ted Hunniford, MDIV.

Pastor Ted started ministry in the North and eventually lead a quite sizable church.  Now, in the years where he is able to spend more time playing tennis, he continues to give as a teaching pastor and mentor.  Pastor Ted tends to a group of  “home group” leaders and teaches “How to Hear the Voice of God.”

Pastor Seth Adkins

Pastor Seth joined the Restoration crew April, 2004.  Seth came up through Cornerstone’s equipping track
and has been working with young people ever since.  Seth started with the youth group and now works with the college and career ages.  His passions are worship and connecting people with the God who loves them so much.

Pastor Kent Davis
(Pic coming soon)

Pastor Kent is the lead pastor for the Bradenton campus and the coordinator for the home group movement at Restoration.  He has been brought up through the congregation and has a wonderful spirit.  Pastor Kent and his amazing family are wonderful additions to the Restoration Fellowship leadership team.

Our Mission:

“To Make More and Better Followers of Jesus”

The mandate of Jesus can be summed up in what we call the great commission, “Go into all the world and make disciples,” and the great commandment, “Love the Lord with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself.”  To lead people to Christ and teach them His ways is the mission we share with every church worldwide.

Thank the good Lord and our Family at Restoration Fellowship, each & everyday; because once my tears were from stress, sadness, fear and shame. Now, my tears are from the love, joy and so much more than anyone or anything or I could have ever imagined. I love each and everyone of you in the family of our church.
May God bless each & everyone of of you. I love each of you.
I know I was lost, but again I am found and I have continued to keep my faith in him. Never give up faith in HIM. Our Lord is a wonderful & loving God. Our our church name says it all, as Pastor Kenton said the other nite… It restores people……

Restoration Fellowship is a church where I have found a phenomenal foundation to guide me throughout my life until the day of the Lord’s GREAT return. I love and miss all of you very much. You have been a gift to me beyond price. If God wills, I will see you all soon!

God bless you and keep marching on for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! You’re in my thoughts and in my prayers!

    Because of Him,
    Donna

By ” a Cornerstone Church,” does this mean that Restoration Fellowship is affiliated with John Hagee’s church in San Antonio Texas? Is the church’s stance on Israel the same? Thank you for taking the time to answer this question. :)

  9. We are a separate network than that of John Hagee’s however, our stance on Israel is that we fully support them in prayer and in finances. We have missionaries there and do have on going prayer for them.
Our Cornerstone network is headed by Senior Leader Gerald Martin in Harrisonburg Virginia, that can be found at http://www.cornerstonenet.org/

I am very happy to be a part of the Restoration Fellowship Family. God is truely amazing, I have been praying for a church to fellowship in for years, then God put me in the house right in the back yard of this church. God brought me home. Praise God…
